Prices and Policies

PET:
Pet and show quality kittens range in price from $2,000 to $3500. Pets cannot be used for breeding.

Breeding kittens will only be sold to established show catteries. CR Maines reserves the right to refuse sale to anyone.

When you purchase your kitten/cat, you will be provided with veterinary records and a starter kitten pack with feeding directions and care. We provide registry applications on all kittens at the time of pick up/delivery. Retired Queens will have registration provided at the time of pick up/delivery.

RESERVATIONS:

Kittens are first offered to families who have submitted an approved kitten application and are on the waitlist, then to public. No deposits are required to be on the waitlist. Reservations are made by first come first serve, no reservations made without deposit. CR Maines reserves the right to refuse adoption to anyone.

DEPOSITS:
We take deposits of $500 to hold a cat/kitten until it is mature enough to go to its new home. Deposits are not accepted before 4wks of age, kittens are not held without a deposit. Deposits are non-refundable except under extreme circumstances. This will be at the Breeder's discretion.

PAYMENT:

We accept personal check, cash, cashier's check, and money order for deposits. Cash will be required for final payment at pick up/delivery.

POLICIES:

Kittens are ready to go to their new home at 12-16 weeks of age. Kittens may be held longer if breeder does not feel they are ready to place.
Expect your kitten to have had the initial kitten vaccinations and booster and to have been thoroughly examined by my Veterinarian. All kittens are guaranteed to be healthy and free of genetic defects/disorders at the time of adoption.

If for any reason the purchaser cannot keep the kitten/cat, the seller will have first right of refusal. If seller cannot take the cat back, every effort to assist buyer to find a home for the kitten/cat will be made. No refund of money should be expected.

If circumstances of the buyer require a kitten to stay with CR Maines longer than 16 weeks, we reserve the right to charge a boarding fee of $10.00 per day/per kitten.

Signatures on the contract between CR Maines/Judi Dyer and buyer will be proof of a binding agreement of these policies. Failure to uphold any part of the contract including spay/neuter will result in waiver of all health guarantee and forfeit of registration, and possible surrender of kitten. Any legal fees incurred to enforce this contract will be the responsibility of the buyer.
