Our Philosophy
CR Maine Coons is a family-operated cattery that takes pride in raising healthy, well-socialized kittens. Our cattery's breeding program aims to maintain the breed's standards and produce kittens with good temperaments and robust health. Our kittens are raised in a home environment and receive plenty of socialization from an early age.

How do I adopt?
Pricing & Policies
PET
Pet and show quality kittens range in price from $2000-$4500. Pets cannot be used for breeding.
Breeding Kittens will only be sold to established show catteries. CR Maines reserves the right to refuse sale to anyone.
When you purchase your kitten/cat, you will be provided with veterinary records and a starter kitten pack with feeding directions and care. You can expect your kitten to come with current vaccinations, micro-chipped, veterinary wellness check, and one-month free insurance through Trupanion. We provide registration applications on kittens with proof of spay/neuter. Retired adults will have registration transfers provided at the time of pickup/delivery.
Reservations:
Reservations are made by first come first serve, no reservations made without deposit. Available kittens will be posted on my website and social media and reserved when deposit received.
Deposits:
Deposits are $500 to hold a kitten until it is mature enough to go home. Deposits are not accepted before 4 wks of age. Deposits are non-refundable except under extreme circumstances and at Breeder’s discretion.
Payment:
We accept personal checks, cash, cashier’s check, money order, and Venmo for deposits. Cash will be required for final payment at pickup/delivery.
Policies:
• Kittens are ready to go to their new homes at 12-16 wks.
• Kittens shall not be declawed.
• Buyer agrees to spay/neuter kitten(s) by 6mths of age.
• Expect kittens to have received their initial vaccinations, booster and thorough examination by my veterinarian. All kittens are guaranteed to be healthy and free of genetic defects/disorders at the time of adoption.
• If for any reason the purchaser cannot keep the kitten/cat, Breeder has first right of refusal. If Breeder cannot take the kitten/cat, every effort to assist buyer in finding a new home will be made. No refund of money should be expected.
• If circumstances of the buyer require a kitten to stay with CR Maines longer than 16 wks, we reserve the right to charge a boarding fee of $10 per day/per kitten.
• Signatures on the contract between CR Maines/Judi Dyer and Buyer will be proof of intent and binding agreement of these policies. Failure to uphold any part of the contract including spay/neuter where applicable, will result in waiver of all health guarantee, forfeit of registration, and surrender of kitten. Any legal fees incurred to enforce this contract will be the responsibility of the buyer.
